DESCRIPTION

WORK IN PORCESS: This complex mixed-use redevelopment features both horizontal and vertical expansions of an existing residential structure.

Phase 1, complete: A deep horizontal extension to the rear property line, creating a  ground-floor retail flagship. (SPACECUTTER acting as Architect of Record for Sézane)

Phase 2, in-process: A two-story vertical addition topped with a custom architectural trellis. The expansion required a significant structural intervention, including new cellar footings and a dedicated steel column network. The residential program consists of a bespoke second-floor apartment and an expansive three-story owner’s triplex.
