Light from Within

Winning entry for Porcher/JADO National Design Competition. The powder room is a concept  environment designed to provide a phenomenological experience. Instead of being lit with a traditional fixture from above, the vanity & sink are merged together to form an integral light emitting object. The wall mounted vanity is made of fused Corian, of varying thickness, whose lights turns on when the molded door is closed.
